So, who's Trumpy-Wumpy going to be angry with today? 08:39 - Mar 31 with 1605 viewsNthQldITFC

He's been told he mustn't say the naughty word for wee-wee again, but he's an angry red-faced little Trumpy-Wumpy again this morning so he might be flinging his hurty poo-poo around if he's able to squeeze any out.

[That's about the standard level of international diplomatic discourse in these advanced days of human civilisation, is it not?]

On a serious note I’m not buying for a second he’s pissed off with Putin.

Tomorrow he will have been treated very badly and lied to by Zelenski and it will all turn full circle.

As if to prove your point, the Today Programme reported this morning he is angry with Zelensky for allegedly trying to renege on the minerals deal.

Of course not. He is best mates with him and they share exactly the same set of values. My guess is that he’s been advised to verbally show some sort of even handedness, while robbing Ukraine, to ease any disquiet amongst those of his rapturous support who might be getting jittery about his brotherly love in with Vladykins.

He’s preparing to smash his enemies including U.K. and EU with massive tariffs this week so will probably pause for breath today other than hunting his internal enemies or finding new ways to rip up the constitution.

His oxygen is hate and anger. The very thing that keeps his core support in line is their own misery and needing someone to blame for it and someone who ‘gets it’ in charge.

He’s invested in making America as hateful, resentful and angry as possible…that’s the plan.

He is having a break today to focus on his third term.

To give him depressing credit, it looks from the outside like he is succeeding. Surrounding himself with believers and promising the moon on a stick while blaming those that cannot fight back helps.

It’s a fairly standard tactic to manage people. The worse things get for people over there the more his followers perceive they need his leadership. He will never make his supporters prosperous and happy because they won’t need him then….Farage the same.

The problem is that his supporters fail to understand that Trump cares as little for them as he does for those who don't support him. Or his colleagues. Or his friends. Or his family. Or in fact anyone who isn't Donald Trump.

For a multi-billionaire, DJT seems a very unhappy and bitter individual

Money, it seems, doesn't buy you happiness....or manners, or class or style.

It’s a characteristic of all maniacs. Kim Jong Un had them use an anti aircraft gun to dispose of some of his relations. Hitler seemed to only love his dog and he poisoned that! History is littered with them. Trump loves Trump and everyone else is disposable. The creeps around him are no better.

...or any number of other narcissists, large or small.

It's a perpetual struggle to achieve nothing truly meaningful at everybody else's expense, whilst running away from themselves, for those arseholes.

I would suggest it's because he has never known any different. His entire life he has been pandered to and essentially been able to have anything he could possibly want. So when occasionally someone stands up to him, or says no, he throws a massive tantrum.

That was my thought after seeing that repulsive MTG creature have a go at Martha Kelner - when is someone going to say to these people "Excuse me, but just who the f**k do you think you're talking to?"

Still, at least Trump has a couple of defenders here in the shape of the treacherous Farage and Johnson.

Also, there's been more talk of a Trump third term I see, but I can't see how that happens with amending or wrecking the constitution.

Several people have wondered if he'd do the following.

Resign early 2028. Vance becomes President.

Vance picks Trump as VP for the 28 election and wins.

Vance resigns mid 29.

Now firstly, I think the 12th amendment says that if you're constitutionally ineligible to stand for President in the next election cycle, you can't stand as VP. So theoretically, Biden could have stood as VP under Harris last year.

Secondly, the thing about all these people is their rampant narcissism - if Vance gets the top job, could you honestly see him giving it up after a year?

Thirdly, there's the age factor. Trump will be 82 in 2028. He's barely functioning coherently now, let alone in four years time. Those of us of a certain vintage will remember the USSR losing Brezhnev, Andropov, and Chernenko I the space of two years before the relatively young Gorbachev got the gig. That's what it'd be like.

Finally, people are perhaps naively assuming they'll take any notice of the constitution. You get the impression they'd look for the smallest excuse to suspend it.

Although, I've just seen someone bring up a very good point

If Trump changes the rules to seek a third term, then what's stopping Obama standing in 28?

Hell, at the moment I'd even welcome a third Dubya term.
