TEAM on 18:39 - Apr 2 with 2517 views | pointofblue | Johnson over Philogene makes me wonder if we're going with a back three? Though Enciso is far better at ten than on the wing. Nice to see Chaplin back on the bench.

Chappers has been a massive miss this season. We don't really have anyone else with his eye for space, crafty final third pass and finishing.

TEAM on 18:41 - Apr 2 with 2423 views | DublinBlue84 | Can't get my head around it. It's not exactly the most attacking line-up and if we really wanted to win the game (and we need to) I would have thought we would have made different choices. Which suggests whatever the club has said in public the team selection says otherwise. But If we have written this season off, why are we not playing Taylor? He's the only central midfielder out of the lot of ours who is going to be here next season. We should be getting him up to speed. Sam has been a great captain but mother time has caught up with him. I assume Hutchinson and Davis are injured? Hutchinson is vital to getting us up the pitch, No player in the Premier League this season has made more successful ball carries than him. If so, the players should be wearing white flags as well.

We looked our most solid with the back three system, but not the free flowing Ipswich of old. Not that we've seen much of that this season, even with a back four. I think we see being compact as the best chance to win this evening. Arguably we've been too naive and too open this season, and the results show that.

Although dropping Hutchinson totally, if true is counter to that as he is one of the only players who helps us get up the pitch.

You don't think Morsy will be with us next season? Unless he gets a Saudi offer, I think you're quite wrong.

If he is, I can't see him being a regular in a Championship season with two or three games a week. Massimo will go, Cajuste will go, Phillips will go, Taylor has to be playing to get him ready for the fact he will need to be playing a lot next year.

I'd have said Enciso, Broadhead and Delap is pretty attacking, even if you don't include Johnson in that. Then we have Philogene, Chaplin, J Clarke and Hirst to come on later. The fact Davis and Hutchinson are missing altogether suggests injury.

If Morsy is still with us next season I think he'll be more bit-part than he has been.

Hutchinson must be injured. I can't see any other way he doesn't make the squad.

Not so worried about Davis, that change should have been made long ago. Great going forward is Leif but playing him in the role he's played all season and considering the fact he's not a great defender has left us exposed way too many times. Think at this level Davis either has to be played in a back five or not at all unless you have really top drawer centre backs.

Can't get my head around your thoughts tbh. What about this lineup makes you think we're not looking to compete? Your assumption about Leif and Omari seems safe, given they've always been present unless injured.

Not really attacking as they will be defending with the back 5 I suspect. Not very hopeful. Thought we might have a real go tonight.

So you’re moaning that our lineup tonight isn’t attacking enough and you’re also moaning that Leif is too attacking and are glad he’s not playing. I think you just like moaning.

Two CBs on the bench might back that up?
