Attendances next season 07:19 - Apr 7 with 2017 viewsblueprint

How well do we think our crowds will hold up next season? I’m hoping that we will still be packing out PR but I do wonder if a few will desert us following the disappointment of this season. Will be interesting to see if tickets do become more readily available that those who dont have season tickets for whatever reason snap them up.

Well you’re not committed to the 10%/3K away fans, so I reckon there will be more tickets available, plus very few of the Champ sides will bring that many fans. Be interesting to see what they do with the ST waiting list they were proposing.

Looking (way) back to the last time we were relegated, the attendances held up for a couple of years. Considering the broader 'good vibes' around the club I suspect we'll be 28,000+ for all homes games next season and sold out for most home fans if we're going well.

Think majority will continue, we should be favourites to go up again and whilst nothing is guaranteed, going into the Championship with the firepower we will have will make it more exciting than this season.

It was easier to get tickets last season when we were on the highest of highs. Not much easier, but I managed a few. It was harder for away games if anything. So I expect it will be a bit easier than this year. Sad fact, some people are only interested because it’s a ‘big’ club. We’ll still have cracking numbers though - I don’t see it dropping significantly.

I think they'll be very healthy, but slightly easier to get tickets than this season. Friends of mine have struggled to pick up anything, next season I imagine that demand for the Pioneer RV's etc won't quite be so high for Millwall and Preston as it was for Liverpool or Man City. It'll depend on how we're doing, demand will stay high if we're winning games they might just sell out a little later in the window.

Corporates, favours for mates, Johnny come latelys and local supporters of the bigger clubs happy to sit on their hands and watch their heroes etc will all drop off.

It's been a nightmare getting home tickets this season, I still don't understand why the club don't have some set aside to offer me before they go on sale.

Agreed. They really should have some sort of elite group of clearly superior fans, maybe 100-200 which needless to say we're both in who get first dibs. It's totally inequitable as it is.

Doubt attendances will drop off at all. I don't think those of us with season tickets fully appreciate how many fans try and miss out on most home games at the moment, or cannot take their kids/parents/siblings

VU3 will come back into the home category for next season as we only need to give 2000 tickets to away fans basis point 35.7.1 this will mean that we will likely lose a few seats to segregation but these will be in VU2.

Also with VL now having proper 'accessible' seating there could be scope to bring this back into home category as well; but less likely as the stewarding cost would make it pretty redundant to do so.

I've enjoyed seeing a packed Cobbold Stand from my seat in West Stand upper.

Blackburn, Preston etc. will all bring fewer than 1,000 away fans, so unfortunately VU2 and VL will be empty for these matches.
