OK,
I know it's been mentioned on here a few times about the lack of respect MoTD seem to be showing us.

Uptil now it's not really bothered me, but I've just sat and watched the "discussion" about our game today...not one single mention of Ipswich by any of the presenters...all Chelsea, Chelsea, Chelsea.

I know, shouldn't let it bother me, but that's just wrong, disrespectful and unprofessional in my opinion. Must write to the BBC.....

Phew, I thought I'd gone made for a minute.

But that's crazy, I'm sure they usually show all goals from a match?!

Thought the same really very disrespectful, we scored 2 good goals and gave Chelsea issues but totally ignored. Very very poor punditry.

And what was the commentator doing saying Hirst pass on the 1st goal was a 'poor pass' that put Johnson in to assist for a goal. Not even hiding the total bias anymore.

I don't think the pass was brilliant, most switched on defenders would have dealt with it pretty easily. It was a combination of Cucurella being slow to react and Johnson taking the opportunity to cross that made the chance.

Commentator did admit he hadn't initially realized Johnson would have the pace to get there.

I don't mind it too much when we've been fairly anonymous in games, even when we have scored a goal.

But today, to have scored two goals but also to have played genuinely quite well at times, and with the performance of someone like Hirst who they should be talking about (first start in how long? Recently got into the Scotland squad etc), I agree that is really poor and really disappointing. There was almost literally no mention.

Why do you let this bother you? These TV stations do not care a f@ck about Ipswich Town, they’re happy we are going back to the Championship and not interfering with their status quo. And really who cares what these people think - if they had any clue about managing a football club they’d be managers. But instead they’re employed to comment on games as if they are experts. Exhibit, number one: Alan Shearer still making a living as a pundit but remind me of when he was in charge at NUFC and what happened?

Just watched it.
7 minutes of game play, 6 minutes of "analysis".
And not a single mention, not a d@mn one.
Disgraceful.

Yeah fairs, I think I let it offend me too much given I tuned in expecting a few nice words about still fighting but then ... nothing.

It isn't the first time, it's like we an annoyance to them

I appreciate Budgie Dion is going to want to highlight Chelsea incompetence and give us no credit, doing his bit for the Budgie propaganda mill

For a broadcaster that is a) supposed to be providing a public service and b) got screwed by the post-1992 Sky revolution, the BBC's utter contempt for smaller clubs has always been a mystery to me.
