The pundits have zero jeopardy though. Once it's gone to VAR, there's little wriggle room.

Var is pants- might as well do a who wants to be a millionaire lifeline for it - 50/50, phone a friend and ask the audience would be more competent than var. even so will soon need intermission with how long it takes and people coming round selling hot dogs and ice cream whilst the wait is on.

We already have this as fans are left to watch the pitch-side advertising boards while the VAR teams ponder their decisions.

I refuse to do a second cheer when VAR confirms a goal I have already celebrated. The system needs to make instant decisions or be scrapped in my opinion.
