Can I just check should I be outraged by this blatant attempt to pander to the woke multi culturalism and political correctness

Or is this one ok?

Asking for a friend obviously

Virtue signalling innit. Do we even have any christian players at the club?

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Trying to remember which players we had recently that would cross themselves as they came on.

Not sure why the club feels the need to pander to these foreign religions. I for 1 will be celebrating Eostre by eating mind blowing amounts of chocolate and sacrificing a neighbours pig

It’s a Pagan tradition, stolen by Christians to pad out the fairy tale

Eostre / Ēostre – The Spring Goddess
• Origin: Anglo-Saxon and Germanic paganism.
• Who: Eostre (or Ostara) was a goddess of dawn, fertility, and spring renewal.
• Connection to Easter: The Venerable Bede, an 8th-century English monk, wrote that the month of April (called Ēosturmōnaþ) was named after her. While evidence of her worship is limited, her name is widely believed to have influenced the English word Easter.

Edit: it has just been lent to the Christians

I first thought the club were late, but it seems that this thread has been resurrected.

My post as a reference to the last supper being a celebration and to some extend and renewing of the Jewish Passover Feast

As far as Christianity as we know it today goes for starters

Christmas is in effect the Pagan Mid-Winter festivak
Communion is linked to the Blood Ceremony from the Mithran
The veneration of the virgin comes from Vesta

The Councils of Nicea effectively cobbled together a religion to keep the Roman Empire together, with the Roman Catholic Church then further corrupting it to suit their own agenda so much so that what e have ended up with bears little resemblance to the faith that could have been

I had a Vesta once, but it didn’t come with any virgins

I’m pretty sure mine was too. Growing up with socially conservative and traditional parents in the 70s and 80s didn’t lead to much experience of foreign cuisine.

When she was in a nursing home in her 90's my mum complained about there being 'so much foreign food like we had today'

When I asked what she had they told me Lasagna
