Think obviously the big thing here is that no-one other than Delap gets in West Ham's starting eleven (and even then, Antonio's all round game and experience probably makes it touch and go).
That said I think if you had McKenna coaching it and picked the players with a bit more coherence and had a reasonably strong bench, there's probably a chance you'd come out with something that might work?
Compared to this I'd want two more defensive full backs and two very physical midfielders, not one. I'd also want the right winger to be more defensive. So, something like:
Ramsdale
Walker-Peters, Tuanzebe, O'Shea, Vestergaard, Kristiansen
Ndidi, Ugochukwu
El Khannous, Fernandes
Delap
Bench:
Hermansen, Justin, Burgess, Sangare, Downes, Hutchinson, Dibling, Fatawu, Vardy [Post edited 1 May 9:04]

Don't think it's unfair to say we're almost certainly 20th on overall player quality. Throw in that our injury record is worse than both Leicester and Southampton, it's surprising that we're above them. | |

I think without Delap we'd have finished below Leicester. I don't think it's a given that our best 11 players as individuals are on average better than Leicester's or Saints'. We have a high quality and level-headed manager who must be worth something in terms of our league position relative to theirs.
But even if our best 11 players are indeed better on average, that doesn't necessarily mean that our 3rd and 4th best players are better.
I think there would be a very good argument for Axel being included, except that he's played fewer than half of the games in the league. I think there's a good argument for O'Shea being included, but I wouldn't say it's obviously wrong to exclude him. Omari is much coveted and still young, but I think he's struggled to make enough of an impact. Maybe he should be in there, but again I don't think it's obviously wrong. Maybe Cajuste has played enough. Maybe he should be in there for Fernandes?
