not quite Arteta levels of salt but reckoned they were the best side over two legs by far, big on the possession stats etc

as well we know, we are hoping it will be painful for the one's who fail also, particularly when encountering us!

I thought in the emotion he was pretty fair and reasonable. Did sound very emotional.

Coventry were the better team across both legs for sure. If Sunderland plan to play this defensive if they get to the prem id really fear for their points total.

Any one other than Sheffield United are going to challenge Southampton for a low points total I would say

It will be interesting to see how Burnley and Sheffiled United handle the yoyo

They are in the phase we aim to get to ultimately

Sheff Utd in the Prem would get 30k crowds every other week, Coventry would get 30k crowds every other week, Sunderland 45k crowds every other week. We'd get 30K crowds every other week, even Nodge get just shy of 30k crowds every other week.

All of those clubs basically as you say yoyo clubs. I know we are not yet, but if we go up next season, we have become a yoyo club.

Yet Bournemouth 10k crowds, Brentford 18k crowds have cracked it. What is their secret?

They know that match day sales are only the 3rd highest income generator for PL teams?

Staying in the Premier League and hoovering up the tv dough.

Add to that a good scouting network and organisation and there you have it. Established PL clubs like them are going to have to do something very wrong, Leicester, Southampton style, to get relegated now.

The small crowds are totally immaterial. They could have no crowds at all, just a simulated crowd of cardboard cutouts, and they’d be financially far more powerful than the clubs you mention.

He has a fair point from what I saw.

Sunderland were bloody awful and will get hammered in the final.

But....if they don't, and somehow win, do you reckon they'd be back in for Jack Clarke? £30 million?

They were the far better team over both legs, missed chances and a defensive blip has cost them. Both Lampard and Le Bris said similar.

I’m not sure - they are quite good in a Forest counter-attacking style. They did the double over Leeds last season. They are good at grinding out clean sheets, should be an interesting game.

Ah the old Russell Martin philosophy ’we lost 5-0 but won on possession’

Thinking of the oily one, Frank Lampard’s Coventry actually reminded me a bit of a poor man’s Southampton last year. Passed the ball around nicely with little end product.

I don't think they are nearly as possession based and they will mix it up and knock it long as well as they did a lot last night (poorly). Southampton never did that under RM.

Sunderland made it difficult but Cov had the chances.

Did you not think they were? I thought they were miles the better team tonight and it was a very impressive away performance in a high stakes game. They were probably desperately unlucky not to win it. I lost count of how many chances Rudoni missed in the first half alone.

Overall, I think Lampard was pretty fair given the circumstances. It must be rubbish being dragged in front of the cameras after a game like that.
