Hi All, Im hoping some of you can help
my mother passed away last year and my late father had left her some sporting memorabilia Which we are hoping will raise some money for her memorial stone and charity.
Its a White 18 panel football printed the "Ipswich town FC. F.A cup winners"
Its 'Made in England' and marked 'FA & FIFA approved'
It is signed by 18 players plus Bobby Robson the team manager in what appears to be ball point pen. Some of them are close together so its difficult to see From looking on line it looks like players in the 78/79 team line up (a few of them have sadly passed away now)
There are at least 19 signatures on it and the 18 signatures I can make out are:
Bobby Robson, Mick mills, Paul cooper , Laurie Sivell, Russell Osman, Brian talbot,
Allan hunter, Kevin Beattie, Roger Osbourne, Signed as (R.osbourne) Paul Mariner, David Geddes, Trevor Whymark, Tommy Parkin, Clive woods, John wark (signed as Johnny wark) Mick Lambert, Eric Cates, George burley

I cant make out whose the 19th signature on the side (5th image) maybe there is someone here that could I.D the one I cant make out? and would anyone here have an idea of value?

Still feel sorry for Robin Turner not featuring in the final. Played in every game getting us there apart from the 3rd round tie against Cardiff.

I think (but may be wrong) that Ferguson was in charge of the reserve team at the time. He was promoted to first team coach/trainer when Lea left. | | | |
