Fraud.

Edit - I thought you could ask a question on Ebay that was then publicly viewable. Maybe not though, or not anymore. Someone needs to highlight this is a fraudster.

I think it's more of a mistake than fraud. The seller does get a lot of signed shirts and a lot of them are gifted to be auctioned for charity. I think it's more about the John Wark signature than the shirt to be honest.
It's definitely not an original shirt though, as already pointed out.

It could be a mistake I suppose. You’d have to be utterly clueless about what you’re selling though.

It's listed as being original from the time and a piece of history though so it's not being listed as all about the signature.

That really is unbelievably out of touch to a) think that's a proper shirt and b)not check and be sure what you are selling.

I do think you are right though.

Incredibly blatant fraud. “This shirt is an original from 77-78….” Seller should be ashamed. And banned from eBay

The plaque on it also makes out that Wark is our leading appearance maker.

I can't see an option on eBay to report an item/seller. Is that a thing?

Yes, there is a ‘Report this item’ option in eBay.

The stats are all wrong. It's true that he scored 135 league goals, but that was in 539 games. In total, he scored 179 in 677 games but, yes, he is neither our record goalscorer (Crawford) nor record appearance-maker (Mills).

And there's a typo.

I've just received an offer from the seller on Ebay for this at £491.22!

Something tells me he knows what he's trying to do and hope he finds some gullible fool who thinks it's legit.

Poll: Lambert goes, would you prefer an ex-Town connection replacement or not?
