But I’m thinking of having Thai - or very possibly the nice south-east Mediterranean place.

If they aren’t real then what’s the point?

Define 'point'...

Genuine question, do you ever post about anything else?

Genuine question, have you ever just scrolled by without commenting?

Given my old job was literally dealing with these morons on a daily basis, it's amusing for me and I know a few on here enjoy discussing it.

If you don't, you can of course ignore it. Or comment as you did. Free speech etc...

yes, but what's that got to do with what i quoted the op having posted? what the op posted was clearly made up and fake. he said:

"Trump has ordered Federal Departments to purchase and erect huge banners of his face on all federal buildings at an estimated cost of $184 million. Trump says: "they do it in North Korea and China to show respect for their supreme leaders, so why shouldn't we.""

which is fake?

[edited because confused stokie with op]

It was confirmed the banner 'project' was true last night. Another journalist (Brian Cohen) was reporting it:

“Trump is spending $92 million on a birthday military parade and plastering his face on the sides of government buildings. Washington, DC is becoming Pyongyang, North Korea,”

All federal buildings on the route will have a banner of Trump hanging on the outside.

The quote wasn't the thing that I was pointing out, it was the giant poster of Dear Leader as the main issue.

but you agree that the following which you posted including the quote:

is fake.

And so as the loose-bowelled pigeon of time swoops low over the unsuspecting tourist of destiny, and the flatulent skunk of fate wanders into the air-conditioning system of eternity, I notice it's the end of the show

that quote doesn't seem to exist anywhere other than these tweets. other than a banner on one building the rest, including the quote, seem to be fake.

You seem to be focusing on the words and not the actions. The quote may or may not be true but the banner definitely is. This ties in with secretary Rollins comment regarding Trumps bold vision when tweeting images of said banner. It's just another manifestation of the way things are going in the US.

one banner definitely is. i've not seen anything credible reference more than that.

fake news is a menace. posting and reposting fake stuff because something else may be true is just as bad.

I noticed this last night but you've been here a while Lowhouse.

You should realise to take any post from Grizzly with a pinch of salt.

He posts as much fake news as Trump. I think he's a bit of an odd bod.

Anyone that uses TWTD as a basically a retweet mechanism for Aaron Rupar definitely fits into that category.

Gott love the MAGA mentality. Sure, you're cosying up to all the worst dictators in the world, tanking your own economy, the president is openly taking bribes and has no clue what his underlings are doing because he's cognitively deteriorating in public, funding for cancer research for children has been slashed so a nazi billionaire doesn't have to pay tax but hey, some trans kids can't play footbal with their matesl now.

What’s all this “you’re” stuff? I’ve not started any debate about his policy, all I’ve done was point out there’s a few on here that post constantly about a foreign leader because their hated clearly runs that deep.

If you have such distain for someone, as many do, surely it’s better for your mental health to shut it off and boycott the country.

You’re another one who I can’t remember ever contributing one thing to a football thread btw!

Regarding your last paragraph - If that’s the case then that’s their prerogative to do so. It is not your place to suggest what someone can or cannot post. And it’s certainly not your place to suggest what is good for someone’s mental health - someone who I’m guessing, have never met in real life before.

It was in response to the earlier post from this guy suggesting the same thing about what's better from someone's mental health, the bad and stupid people line.

I usually avoid any correspondence with him but quite literally only turns up in these kind of threads.

Just seen it - apologies. In footballing terms I saw a few players square up and I ran into pushing and shoving.

Have you made a decision yet? I’m making a ‘Greek’ (Welsh) Chicken Gyro Bowl with Greek salad, garlic Parmentier style potatoes, homemade hummus and homemade flatbreads, if that gives you any inspiration.

I do like a Thai though. Tom Yum soup, chicken satay and green curry is the food of the gods.

Went with Thai - red curry, sticky rice and some prawn crackers. Lovely.

I’m off to Greece next week so I’ll certainly be eating a lot of gyros - I really enjoy Greek food - yum yum yum.

That's the trouble with Trump/MAGA. It is impossible to tell the difference between satire and real life.

To be fair, it's already got a couple of white supremacists on it so the qualifying standards aren't that high...
