Think we've actually played better (or at least had a better share of the chances) in the games this season against them than we did last season despite getting fewer points this time around.
Think the main thing is our confidence/belief is completely shot and the carrot of promotion isn't there to add motivation. |  |

I think we played ok today. But kept missing chances. Poor Palmer had nothing to do and when he did it mostly flew past him.
I don't think we were too bad in the home defeat to Saints either, they just scored both times they came in our half, see Maidstone et al.
Perhaps it is a confidence thing. We just couldn't buy a win this season. Glad when it is all over and we can rebuild and start again. |  | | |

Leicester were better in both boxes today and in the end that’s what counts. Fans I think have been (I’ll see say it) a bit deluded about how much better we are than them, including Joe and co on blue Monday.
Yeah they went ages without scoring but our results were very similar. That’s 8 on the bounce at home and a disaster against those that came up with us. [Post edited 18 May 17:04]

Not that this result means anything much (except losing 18th place) but for us to be in probably,collectively, the worst 3 teams in the bottom 3 ever, for us to have only taken 2 points from them 2 is not good. We've given Southampton 1/3rd of their points.

The man utd game was the only game where I felt anger this season. Utterly pathetic performance and 1 of our goals was gifted to us.

Our non-existent end product today obviously stands out but it has been the same pretty much all season. We are bad at scoring goals.
Overall I’d say we’ve shown across the 4 games with Southampton and Leicester that we’re probably better between boxes but dreadfully ineffective at both ends, which obviously doesn’t end well.
