Another cracking line up. Gutted I can't be there

Saw Deadletter last weekend. They were ace

Also highly recommended Dry Cleaning and Richard Dawson's live shows

Would definitely want to check out WH Lung and Westside cowboy if I was going

WH Lung are a must see. I reckon you'll like Bob Vylan. Dry Cleaning are excellent live, though I think their earlier stuff is much better than the most recent album.

Hopefully catch up with you properly this time round!

On paper I should like Deadletter, but they leave me cold. Possibly the speak/sing post punk formula has been exhausted for me!

Agree with your other tips though. WH are a huge favourite of mine, must have seen them 10 times now.

No, it’s Ellis D who is currently the e drummer with Fat Dog.

FWIW Black Fondu will be the most interesting performance of the weekend, a pretty intense experience for the Smokehouse

First time going for me. Really looking forward to Bob Vylan. Everything else is basically a blank slate so hopefully I’ll discover some new favourites!

I'll be there. The BTC playlist on Spotify is worth a listen as there's some cracking tunes on there by way of introduction. The festival is a great event for Ipswich.

….and the festival director is a top bloke too 😉
Thanks for the shout out.

W.H.Lung for me will be a standout.
Another Taste, disco from Rotterdam will be a highlight too.

Dubs, have you seen the talks on Sat? Simon from The Cocteau Twins/Bella Union, Gruff from the Super Furries and OneDa….should be a nice way to slip into the Saturday.

Van Houten sound pretty lush too…and pencil

For non ticket buyers, there’s a free stage in the centre of town, loads of good music on there from local and regional artists. From grime to acoustic, indie, pop etc…. Which you can wash down with lashings of Adnams from their truck and grub from the food vendors.

✌️✌️

Really enjoyed Dry Cleaning just now but also seeing the town centre full of life and diversity is great too.

Real shame that The Pill were too early for us land workers...you must have got there early from what I hear! Sebbuku was a not too bad substitute.

Anyone going to the Q&A’s at noon? Im thinking the capacity is going to be limited in the cinema, so not sure whether to risk it.
