I know it's still early days... 13:58 - Jun 27 with 987 views | tonybied | ...but this summer has been a bit meh for an ITFC fan, so far! I hope things pick up soon. I'm bored, and could do with a signing to perk up my mood a bit. Come on Ashton, pull ya finger out!
I know it's still early days... on 14:01 - Jun 27 with 954 views | baxterbasics | Isn't it ever thus? Always seems like weeks of nothing. Until suddenly it all happens. Last seasons will-he won't-he drama over McKenna was particularly tedious. Glad we've largely avoided that this year.

I was in Devon on holiday with my mother at this time last year, scattering some of my stepdad's ashes in Boscastle, to be precise. It was a flurry of activity for Town signings and links that week. It was at that time we had a fee accepted for Hutchinson, and signed Delap. It just feels deftly silent so far this close season compared to last. I guess it's unfair to compare to last season, as we don't have the heft of the Premier League cash behind us that we had last year. We probably need a similar number of bodies through the door, so it feels like we're a smidgen behind the 8-ball already. Or, I'm just feeling a little dramatic! Either way, it needs sorting out and I'm disappointed with the club for not trying to appease my entitlement.
I know it's still early days... on 14:18 - Jun 27 with 808 views | SheffordBlue | Omari was our first signing last summer and that happened on the 30th June. Lots more hype to fill the gap before that with stadium upgrades etc though which is maybe why this feels different.

we don't need a similar amount of bodies though, we signed a whole new team last summer. as it stands we have a full 25 man squad already in the building, so it'll be more like a few upgrades and a few to replace any leavers

I just googled the Hutch and Delap bids, these were accepted on 28th June and 7th July, respectively. It seems I've jumped the gun slightly. I'll get back in my box until tomorrow, then I'll be back expecting our first offer of the summer to be accepted, sounds reasonable to me!

This is all rather tongue-in-cheek, see my last sentence of that post. I'm just playing on my boredom, trying to entertain myself. It's probably best if you just ignore me, I might go away! Might...

I couldn’t believe it when someone said it was only 17 days at the end of May for that McKenna ‘saga’. Felt like months

I know it's still early days... on 15:47 - Jun 27 with 387 views | SuffolkPunchFC | The stupid World Club tournament doesn't help. Transfers are a a chain of events - dominoes falling over, as it were. Much is likely to be 'on hold' until the tournament ends, and some of those involved begin to move. I also think (hope) we'll be in for some PL fringe players, and those won't be freed up until the PL clubs do some business, and know who is surplus to requirements for next season.
I know it's still early days... on 16:02 - Jun 27 with 337 views | Rimsy | As others have mentioned, deals are likely to flow once July is here. Psr innit.
