With this new buy back clause that has come into place the last few years I think we need to look very carefully at this and make sure we leave ourselves in the best possible position if his team are relegated after the following season. Make sure we can get him back at bottom dollar and also give ourselves first refusal on him.
Incidentally I think the reason Tuanzebe left is because he knew he would perform better in the Prem than he will in the Championship and kept his value up. A better season than last year and he will be a £50 million player.
International Caps (although as I have said on another thread there are several ahead of him right now) and playing well for England could see him reach £80 million plus.
Could he be as good for Brentford (or other team) as Grealish was for Villa? Even close to that would put him in the £80 million bracket. | | | |
