On Saturday McKenna said “we’ll see him next week” which I took as Monday/Tuesday.
But the club won’t make a song and dance of his return if he’s off.
I was hopeful they may have posted a picture or something which would indicate he’s staying IMO. |  |

I take it as McKenna has given him the extended post U21 tournament break and now id giving him a few more days to let all the implications of the offers from Brentford settle down - so he is straight in the head for a run out on Friday night. |  |

I’ve said elsewhere that I don’t think this is the best move for him as can see them struggling next season with the departures that they have had. Somewhere like Brighton or Forest would be better IMHO, but still prefer him to stay and tear up the Championship | | | |

I don’t expect him to play on Friday, but I still don’t see Brentford as being in his best interests for his career at this stage. However if it’s the only offer, PL is probably an imperative to continue the momentum he started last season. I want maximum dollar for ITFC though otherwise help shoot us back to PL! | |

My understanding is he's currently not handling things in the best way (from our perspective anyway). No idea as to the detail behind that but I'd assume one way or another that may be why he doesn't appear to have trained with us yet. | | | |
