More and more international games for clubs, expanded national tournaments. Millions of fan journeys every year. New stadiums being built. Etc. I wonder if anyone has ever tried to calculate it. | |

I was the sole passenger from Teeside to North Denes (Great Yarmouth) once. On a helicopter. Got picked up on a platform off Norfolk and I thought we were flying back to GY, but everyone else on board was going to Teeside. So we dropped them off first and I was the only one left.

People who care about looking after the environment for future generations aren’t “eco nutters”. They’re just not selfish c***s (imo). Many are prepared to go to jail so we don’t have crap floating down our rivers, don’t kill our kids with polluted air and so we stand a chance of restricting the damage climate change is doing. Good luck to them as far as I’m concerned. I’m glad someone still cares even if they are fighting a lost cause. | |
