Ot is this no different to 23/24?

“The EFL have confirmed a revised structure for streaming Championship fixtures outside the UK, with the following changes:

155 league matches will be selected for international broadcast and therefore cannot be streamed live on Club platforms in those territories.

The remaining 397 fixtures will continue to be available for live streaming via official Club platforms in markets where no broadcast restrictions apply.”

It reads as if there may be more localities that won't be able to view Town TV when matches are selected for broadcast in their jurisdiction, but I would imagine there'll be at least one country somewhere that can view each game.

In those territories.

Might just have to get on a longer flight if the likes of France are showing the game. Tokyo anyone?

Some poor office worker sitting there wondering why 4000 people in Papua New Guinea were desperate to see the Hull match.

Or telling MA that the club desperately needs to try and find someone from PNG to sign.

The club usually put a list of countries it’s available in the day before a game, with the KO times in that country.

I’m sure in 23/24 games outside of 3pm Sat were available in the UK on TownTV, or at least the ones that weren’t on TV - so most midweek games.

But that’s been taken away now because Sky Sports+ show every midweek/not a Sat 3pm game on there if it’s not the main game selected.

Yes, it's an expanded version of what's been in operation for a few years now. Despite having to rack up more air miles with longer, ahem 'flights', I find it easier to watch games when they're on TownTV. Trying to watch games in the PL was a pain (I don't have Sky and tbf miss a lot of matches because of clashes with things on with the kids - so I probably can't blame that on the league or broadcasters!).

Last year I frequently went to the US when IPswich were playing so I could watch on online cable tv. I presume that I can do that with a monthly subscription to CBS if i give them my totally real ZIP code?
