I thought the "Wow! The miserable old yellow-shirted tvvats have finally woken up after eighty years" (or whatever) until I realised that was the visitors. Never before has that place seen half so much energy generated by a handful of fans dressed up like daffodils.
By all accounts the Breda lot spent the whole weekend causing joyous carnage up here.
Fair play to Norwich for doing their best to accommodate/facilitate their madness!
They seem to have got the hang of organising decent (profitable) pre-season games against teams that travel well. Breda this year, and last year they had St Pauli and Magdeburg, both of whom came in numbers.
A lot of them stayed in Yarmouth and Gorleston that evening and following day. I saw them wandering about. A pleasant lot. Just there for fun.
I mean it is bad enough having to go to the place we name not for the footy, you dont want to actually stay there ! But a lot of away supporters do that, watch the match and have a weekend by the coast.

Perhaps they should invite the Germans across. Never know they might turn up in a Heinkel, bomb Carrot Road and do thousands of pounds worth of improvements.

The ones that stayed in Nodge must have missed out on visiting Blackfriars Tavern in Yarmouth. Just voted the best pub in the Eastern Region by CAMRA. For the second year running.

Oh and it's the Cider pub of the year too. It's grim there. You dont want to go.
