Bidding war!

If we're going to lose Omari then a bidding war is exactly what we want to get best deal possible!

They refer to him as a Jamaica international, rather than an England U21. Interesting angle. I'd have thought they'd be pushing the fact he is an U21 Euros champion. 🤷

I wonder who they were planning to sign, who has fell through. Because, if Hutchinson was the number one target, they would have surely put a package together whilst the release clause was in place - even if they tried to play tough with the payment terms a la Brentford.

Reported by Sky that they understand it will take a MUCH higher figure than £35m for Ipswich to ket him go...

I wonder if they'll test our resolve and it would imply higher than the £40m thats been mentioned on here!

I wasn't so worried about Brentford completing the deal but can definitely see Forest getting it through given they lost Elanga.

Their fans seem convinced they won't pay over £35m for him but if others come out of the woodwork then it may push the price up. For once it's nice to see us being bolshy and not being walked over - him and also Broady
