Amazing that he is a free transfer now. I remember watching him live when he first signed. I can't remember ever being so impressed and excited by a signing. Like watching Ronaldinho in L1. He was on another level running with the ball in those early games. Seemed like unbelievable business.

Just never got any better than those first few games. Confidence player. Has the toolkit. Just not the all round game I guess but love a player like him. Gets bums off seats and now a free agent.

It does seem injury has majorly impacted him. Really hope he can get back to his best and find his confidence and form. Should be playing week in and out in the champ.

I always feel like a bit of a kill joy when I say this as it comes across as though we shouldn't get excited about new signings...

He was silky and beat players for fun, but he had absolutely nothing when it came to producing a final pass, cross or finish. His best goal was an over hit cross. He didn't do anything of note in that Cheltenham game everyone refers back to.
