That's interesting. I han't spotted the difference and did think it odd that sometimes (like this one) the postings were very normal compared to the deluded clearly anti-Ipswich ones. That explain a lot. |  |

Where do they get them from? Well he's a sports writer at the Guardian, and has been for a long time.
He's no wally. He was an octochamp on Countdown (winning 8 episodes on the bounce). Obviously that doesn't make one clued up about sport, but he's been a sports (including football) journalist for a long time, and is someone I always read when I come across his articles. For me, he's an excellent mix of thoughtful, erudite, and mildly amusing.
I haven't seen the video you refer to, so I've no idea whether he was disagreeing in a weird way, or trying to be funny or whatever. I think Ipswich will be in the mix, and am excited and positive about the new season. It's rare in the last few years for the fancied teams not to even be in the mix. We're no Luton. But it's a tough league and we're no shoo-in either.
You could make a case against us (playing devil's advocate): top striker left and not replaced, captain fantastic gone (for free despite being under contract), keeper situation plain odd, a puzzling number of injuries including both left backs, lots of backroom staff having left, downwards momentum of relegation.
