You do know (actually you probably don't) that ULEZ was a Boris Johnson initiative? He announced when he was mayor in 2015. So actually I agree that London voted in a dodgy mayor, but that was ages ago now and actually ULEZ was one of the few good things he did in his tenure. The buses, garden bridge, and water cannons, not so much.

Looks like Trumps team have already helped him in how to selectively use data to spin a story that suits. I’m not saying it’s inaccurate, but the normalisation of posting selective data without a clear source gets on my wick.

Yes it is, isn't it? It's almost like certain people are deliberately trying to mislead. You might be on slightly dodgy ground if you drive a 13-year-old diesel, but petrol vehicles dating back quite a long way are exempt.

I'm guessing you either flew to those early games in Europe, or travelled in a nice old skool petrol run coach / car (very few of those left now, and as a Londoner very glad that owners are being discouraged from driving around my city in those)

My point was that he was exhibiting Trumplike behaviour in posting partial statistics, which is a pet hate of mine and the point stands. What are the stats for other types of crimes across the same period? Why not share them all?
