Morecambe survive and back in business.... on 09:06 - Aug 20 by Mullet
There's part of it being needs must and part of it being really radical and to be applauded for me.
The wider message of Morecambe going out of business being met with shrugs between wall to wall coverage of Prem greed still says a lot to me.
I'm here for it, no doubt it's radical though. A good mate of mine played for Adams in his more successful 1st spell at Morecambe, after which is stock was relatively high and CV was actually really impressive at that point after Ross County, Plymouth and Morecambe achievements. Went to Bradford and things have been mediocre for him ever since.
My mate reckons he's as old school as they come. Literally has them in with military style fitness regimes, press ups in the snow and all that. No day off if they lose (all staff, not just players). One of those where when it works it works, but when it doesn't its a sh1t show. No idea what the new guys style is but I would guess a bit more 'modern'.
Agree about the shrugging of the shoulders, who needs to worry about protecting the future a vital community asset like Morecambe in a town that otherwise doesn't have a huge amount of investment when we can read about Yoane Wissa deleting his Instagram posts.
