He's a good player who was playing out of position as Delap didn't go. Was deemed better than Stanfield to play up top despite it not being his position.
From a football perspective it would make a lot of sense but obviously was some beef before.
At the end of the day he just played for Norwich and I would get over that very quickly if he came here and played well and committed himself. |  |

I think the situation makes him someone to have an enquiry about. They aren't getting €20 mil for him in this scenario. Everyone now knows they want him out this window and will want to resolve the situation. Everyone also knows their preference wasn't to buy but they had the obligation.
He's an excellent champ player. In terms of leaving under a cloud the situation was like Omari or Szmodics really. And If anything it takes the edge of him being ex Norwich like Williams when he came.
I'd take him for £7-8 mil which might be doable. I'm sure he will have plenty of options.
