I very much doubt that. He is trying to sign right wingers to play on that side. I understand why he used Clarke there over Ogbene, especially vs Preston. Ogbene needs a lot of space to run in to and Preston gave us none of that.
We need a pacey ball carrier, who can go 1v1 with a defender. Can come inside with the ball. Receive the ball deep to start an attack. That ability is nowhere in our team.
Maybe we can still get the deal done or we have another lined up. But my biggest concern for our team right now is the right hand side. [Post edited 25 Aug 16:02]

It's all gone very quiet , we desperately need a goalscorer .
Egeli sounded like a good one to go for , with Millwall's Ivanovic a decent alternative , but both seem to be looking unlikely .
So maybe we are in for a young player from a Premiership club .
Leaving it this late is crazy .....no goals from open play surely means we need some goalscoring addition to the squad , since we have lost 3 important players who score goals and I don't see much goal threat in our midfield . |

There has been more speculation and a journalist on Twitter says he's confident it will happen.
Why wouldn't they play him? He's their player until we meet their demands and they are bottom on the league so far.
