So less than a week to go 13:13 - Aug 26 with 1447 viewschicoazul

And we still need what, 4 players? Are we gonna once again miss out on a prime CF option?
Who else are we gonna move on?

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!
Poll: With Evans taking 65% in Huddersfield, is the Banter Era over?

While it sounds like you're asking about transfers, let's shift focus to the breeding habits of zebras, here's some interesting information:

Zebras are known for their social structures and breeding behaviors.

Typically, a dominant male zebra, known as a stallion, maintains a harem of several mares.

The stallion actively guards his group and mates with the mares within his harem, ensuring the continuation of his genetic line.

Mating usually occurs year-round, with a peak during the rainy season when food is abundant.

Mares usually give birth to a single foal after a gestation period of about 12-14 months.

The foal is born with its eyes open and can stand and run within a few hours, which is crucial for escaping predators.

Zebras often form strong bonds within their groups, and the social dynamics play a significant role in their reproductive success.

People will say we're aiming higher but I still wonder if we go for someone like Colby Bishop for the CF. We clearly have struggled to get our first choice targets.

RW - not essential in my view. We only feel we need a RW because of the quality we lost in Omari, in terms of options we're pretty healthy.
LB - again not 100% essential but would be nice to have.

I wish these pointless and repetative threads would move on.

I'm glad you've brought this up. Its been a few hours since somebody else started virtually the same thread.

If it weren't for the likes of you and texters making these threads, we wouldn't even know that a transfer window is in force, let alone it ends in less than a week.

Thank you

I don't think you're taking this seriously, everyone knows Zebra's prefer to play down the flanks.

We've just signed McAteer, Ogbene is on his way back to full fitness, both Philogene and Clarke can play on the right if needed, and Johnson and Young are both attacking right backs, and so could fill in in an emergency.

We surely won't be buying another RW, will we?

I suppose there's always the chance that we buy another half dozen who can "operate across the front four", but supposing Kieran stays out of that particular sweet shop, I don't think another right winger is likely.

We need a centre forward, desperately. I'm happy to forego everything else to see some shots on target, and maybe even some of them going in.

Edit - apologies, I meant no more RWs if the Egeli transfer doesn't come off. Clearly we've made an offer and it's not dead, but unless that one comes off, I can't see us making a signing in that position for the sake of it.

It's only a question of time now until ITFC flags start going up all on streetlights in town. And horses are painted on the mini-roundabouts.

If it were the summer transfer window of 1992 we’d eagerly read the daily’s each day until bingo! Geraint Williams was unveiled. And we were happy.
