Championship fees are high this summer and I had hoped we would get 6M but the fees are high at the top end of the pitch really.
The real issue for me is buying Greaves for money that’s spent on proven top international quality CBs but he’d only played in the EFL. That PL tax was insane for some of our business in 2024 that should have been top leagues abroad.
The market for the likes of LW and Ogbene is going to be the same division unfortunately, unless you can drum up interest in Europe. |  |
