Went to a wedding when I lived in the midlands - some mates were big blues fans and the younger brother was marrying a girl who was a Villa fan.

The best man's speech was basically

"We would like to welcome Sarah into our family, even though she comes from a family of Villa fans. So all I can really say is "Sh1111t, on the Villa..."

That night, there were ongoing punch ups at the reception. No idea if the marriage lasted but it wouldn't help having two families who basically hated each other.
