CO got thrust into the team early and we and he felt period of playing games will build his physical level and confidence. Harder to do here with Kasey, Sindre and Wes not far away. Wonderful person, hopefully in not long recover his physical strength can return to play bg role here. | | | |

Had honest conversations with him through pre-season, didn't start many games last year, then had a significant injury towards end of season. Knowing competition for minutes, but some of those conversations were that important to start week in, week out at his stage of career, against that his feeling for the club. Opportunity to go to Pompey came in late. Big loss to the group, modern legend and earned us looking at that for him. Loal team whre he has history and chance to come back in Jan or next summer. We've depth, so could allow that and will keep an eye and in contact. | | | |

Sindre, you need to go into it knowing patience needed. Intensity and physicality is a big step up. Will be adjustment but don't put a cap on it. We didn't with Delap last year. If they progress, not going to hold them back. Big fee but that has no bearing on my thought processes, that's the market as where we are as a club. Took Omari on loan, there was no fee. Shouldn't be a different expectation because of that. Exceptional young talent, enjoyed having him in the building in the last 24 hours. Looking forward to working with him and fans will be looking forward to seeing him.
Has very high potential, technical qualities, footballing intelligence, physical qualities already. But it's how you develop into a team. Lots of ingredients. Rate challenge of window, didn't go quite to plan? That's fair. Last summer was really difficult as well, couple of challenging summers since double promotions. This summer difficult with players out, emotional in some cases. More turnover than wanted, has been a long summer but it is what it is, we are where we are. Believe we've got a strong squad who want to be here, players who will grow into roles here. How season progresses will be reflection on how much of a success it was.
Players are aware that they've got to make the fans fall in love with them. Was the same for the players who came in 2021. Over time, didn't happen straight away, that team grew and built bonds with each other and supporters.
Patience, won't be at our best on Friday but be in no doubt we couldn't work any harder.
