Yes Nunez worthy of more minutes. Think I'm in the minority, but I thought Cajuste was poor last night. For every occasion he impressively turned though a layer of Blades' attacking midfield, he lost the ball twice or three times. I guess those don't show on a youtube montage. Certainly doesn't have Luongo's timing or brain yet. He might be 26, but has only ever made 96 starts. Average for a pro footballer his age is nearer 200. Hopefully it will come. |  | |  |

I said it against Derby. When that ‘turn’ of his comes off, it looks the b0ll0x. When it doesn’t, it puts us under all sorts of unwarranted pressure.
Rolls Royce when he gets going though. Some battle between him and Nunez and hopefully it brings out the best of both of them. |  |

Appreciate that when Nunez came on the game was wide open and we were dominating, however interesting how many touches he got of the ball in just 27 minutes. 31 touches and 20 accurate passes according to Sofascore. Underpinsthe comments in this thread.That dominates the stats for our players as well based on minutes on the pitch. Hopefully one to grab a game by the scruff of the neck and influence. |  | | |

Sheffield United might be very poor at the moment, with some awful defending - all 5 goals came from the left (Godfrey's) side - & a pretty toothless looking attack, however, their midfield is really strong with Matos, Peck & O'Hare winning a lot of ball & causing us problems, particularly in the first half.
They may be bottom of the table, but Cajuste won't come up against players as good as them every week, so he will get plenty of opportunities to glide his way into dangerous areas over the coming weeks. A match fit Nunez may have been a better options alongside Matusiwa last night, but all 3 are going to contribute a lot of league minutes to the side this season. | | | |

Looks to be a really, really good signing. If Mats, Jens and Nunez can stay free of injury we look to have a really strong midfield. Taylor as a 4th choice is pretty serviceable too |  | | |

I sympathise with this put down. However, they do have different qualities. Nunez seems to have a better range of passes, and the ability to take his time and pick them out. Less of a 'driving run' type of player than Jens. The point about Nunez being able to unlock the low block may be a good one.
Either way, our dismantled midfield is well and truly in the re-mantling phase, and it's nice suddenly to have quality options. |  | | |
