Ditch the blond hair and he will be fine. I thought he was poor first half. But won a couple of headers early on second half and pushed on a bit. The first half performance is still a concern. Obviously not easy either a new partner (Akpom), but you have to win your duels. |
You could see his confidence levels increase as soon as he scored. Excellent finish shortly afterwards for the goal that was (unfairly in my opinion) ruled offside. |  | | |

Hirst is definitely not good enough tbh.
He is way too slow and dare I say it, a bit of a cart horse.

I also thought that re his ‘failed’ header in previous game - it was almost point blank and instantaneous, as in about 0.0001 second to react by directing it either side of keeper - probably on my own with the view, but I didn’t blame him for ‘missing’ that - he’s human, not a robot. | |

I just don't even know where you are coming from. He proved it when we went up. But for his injury he would have scored 15 goals or so and was excellent before and when he came back from that injury.
Did a decent job in his limited game time in the Prem and scored some goals. 2 goals in 5 so far despite people saying he's had a bad start. Certainly in a misfiring team. Scored a belter last night that was wrongly ruled out.
I honestly don't even know what's up for debate. Hirst is in the top 5-6 strikers in this division. | |
