Nine points off the top after five games.

Pretty funny.

You’d certainly wanted to have played them by now. I don’t know how patient they are up there, but surely they’ve twigged by now that he’s a poor manager.

Recon he'll be gone by Monday.... Can only think the pay off is prolonging things...

He'll be in the running for Sheff Utd job in a fortnights time.
That would be funny.

Quite some achievement to be sitting tenth in a two horse race.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

The journalists didn't hold back...

Doesn't go all in on any one target but it was a combination of the fans, the ref and the players being scared.

Next up is the cup semi final...one of their only chances of a trophy this season...

Truly impaired.

It won't be his fault. amazing to think he's had a career of managerial failure and it's never been his fault, where did a man who played 250+ games under Paul Lambert learn that from?

I don't know how this could be.

He's an excellent manager. You don't even need to ask him, he'll tell you.
Must be that he's inherited yet ANOTHER bunch of players incapable of understanding the process.

Poor Russell.

It's a funny old league that. We have 6 points from 5 games. So do St Mirren and they're 4th!

But yes, not going to shed any tears for Russell Martin. Hard to see how the average random fan could have achieved worse results with that squad in that division, in his position.

In relation to this particular match, Hearts do seem to be having a good year. Might be nice to see them breaking the hegemony (hogmanay?)

It is much more open at the moment, and might become more so if the rumblings about Rodgers leaving Celtic get worse. Only regret is that my new second team, Aberdeen, can't seem to score even when they have sixteen shots in a game.

[edit: and what I intended to post when I opened the thread but got distracted reading through it, Rangers should never have sacked Phillipe Clement.]
