Wowzers.

0 minutes for Wolfenden, Hutchinson, Broadhead
Off the bench for Harness, Ogbene
Injuries for Delap, Tuanzebe
Red card for Morsy

90 minutes for Chaplin (L), Slicker (W), Burgess (L), Muric (L)

I think I'm quite confident that this years squad is better than last years...

Still bench time for wolfy. And again for broady despite 2 goals midweek

Indeed, but in Woolfy's case he is on track to be a squad player in the Premier League again next season (early days as it is).

Hutchinson's future may well depend a lot on his ability to convince their next manager he is worth giving a chance to (or injuries and suspensions making it inevitable).

Lampard may be demonstrating loyalty.

The Burgess vs Massimo game yesterday saw both of them see out the full match. And Slicker didn't save a penalty.

Omari came on at 72mins and really impressed

Some superb beating of the man and crosses. Laying on two which should have been put away.

He can’t start on Thurs in Europe. But clamour for him to start the next league game.

But all a bit overshadowed by real concerns over Ange and premier league survival! Especially with Sunderland and Leeds starting well, and former City Ground manager Nuno potentially galvanising struggling West Ham

Thirty eight year old Conor Sammon came on as an eighty eighth minute sub for Alloa Athletic last night, they beat Kelty Hearts away 0-2.

Did one of the goals go in off Conor Sammon's knee?

That would only have counted if the lino didn't spot the ball going over the line by the subs bench, but Conor did replace the second goalscorer...

Nice to see Jack Lankester back playing, think he has another injury setback. Think him - injury + McKenna could have worked.

Any idea what Sam Morsy is up to club wise now he’s left the kuwaití club ?

Not club-wise, but he's in an Egypt squad for some friendlies ahead of the Arab Cup. Not a full international squad, but presumably he's involved as he's not playing club football until January.

Interesting 🤔 I wonder if that means there’s a chance he’ll end up in the Egypt squad for the African nations cup which follows almost directly as he’ll presumably be available and match fit and fresh.
I think he retired from the national team could be a great chance to get back in and then … the World Cup.. nice way to close the curtains on his international career and keep himself in the window for another club in that region.

Terrific double save from Muric* last night. Looks more confident and proactive in this than he ever did with us last season.

*Still a Town player technically but suspect we'll not see hi again.

The better he does, the better it will be for Town whatever the eventual outcome. I wonder if Sassuolo might sign him permanently.

Muric is way way above the level of our other keepers

Unfortunately he lost all confidence very early on and never recovered. Ive even seen pictures of him smiling in training recently.

It's actually a shame he hadn't joined us in the summer as making his debut at this level instead of the prem he'd have probably grew with us.

First two clips he pushes the saves into dangerous areas. Briilliant reaction save following the first of those errors though.
