I think it was brought in to avoid the unseemly sight of a bare chest! Now players all have layers underneath the shirt in the same colour, it really is time for the rule to go. |  | | |

I think it was brought in to avoid the unseemly sight of a bare chest! Now players all have layers underneath the shirt in the same colour, it really is time for the rule to go. |

Rather than photos of bare chests/underlayers they'd want to see their brands on show after a player scores

There was also several occasions when players struggled to get their shirts back on for the restart - I remember Diego Forlan in particular playing skins for a couple of minutes at one point. | | | |
