That's pretty funny. I remember going there once, decades ago, and we were running late as we got to Liverpool. We jumped in a taxi and asked to go to Port Vale. The driver didn't know where it was (this was before the internet and sat navs) as it's not actually a place. That's the first we knew of it not being an actual place.
I think we made it in the end, although I'm not sure how. |  |
