For those of us who will be watching this weekend, I thought a thread for it makes sense.
Who’d we reckon? I’ve had a lumpy bet on the Americans at 1.74 on the machine. For four reasons:
- Scottie Scheff. His singles point is almost automatic and he’s going to be lethal in the four balls as well.
- Depth. The yanks have every player ranked 23 or above in the rankings. Whereas Europe have 5 players ranked below that.
- Class. The Americans have 7 of the world’s top 10.
- Home advantage. That’s the main one for me. Only 2 away European victories in 45 years. I see no reason as to why that changes here. The course will be set up to suit the Americans.
Thought 1.74 was a proper price and have backed accordingly. |  |

The Americans are a totally different breed to anybody else and can get nasty with it as sports fans and if Europe get anything from first match I think will be a bonus. | | | |

I've lumped on a Europe win. I know it's away but I just think the team is stronger, and the European golfers ended the year really well on Tour.

Seriously they are horrible with no filter . Rahm having a slighty dodgy start at the moment but so difficult for the first group.

There have been 19 matches since 1985, and currently it sits 13-6 since in Europe's favour with 4 of those victories in the US.
