He wasn't really given a lot of slack by some sections of the fanbase last season, who seemed to associate his attitude with his agent's weird shenanigans, and were quick to pounce on any negatives.

Exactly, even if the defender doesn’t go with the runner they at least think about it for a split second and that all JP needs!

He looks like a different players..just full of confidence.
I think teams will double up on Philogene more often but should hopefully allow more space for Leif who also looks like a different player from the one we saw in the Premiership. | | | |

If we can keep him fit, he'll be good for 20+ goals this season, imo. Such a good finisher and he's got really quick feet. His ability to make half a yard and get a shot off in a split second is excellent and he's too good for the defenders at this level with that kind of ability. |  |

Exactly, we should have tonnes of chances created from that side this season. The opposition can't double up on both Philogene and Davis. When they double up on one, it leaves the other with space! With both of them being so creative sides are really going to struggle to keep that side of the pitch under control. |  | | |

Think that was our problem last season. The teams we played were just too good and we weren't able to create the overlaps this leaving Delap to try and create his own chances.
Would have loved to see how good Delap could have been with more assistance.
Can't wait for the right side of our attack to click. Will be hell for defenders then. |  | | |
