Feels like the perfect "where are we at the moment" litmus test against a really slick, settled side that is generally tightly drilled and can play some lovely stuff. I'd probably accept a point but we're more than capable of coming away with all three and that should have us breathing down the necks of the top two already. Knight missing out would be a huge blow for them, possibly outcome-determining, let's see how serious that knock really was.

I’m finding it a hard one to call. On the face of it they’ve had a decent start, but their wins have been against teams that are all struggling (Sheff Utd, Sheff Wed, Hull). I’m going to stick my neck out and predict it’ll be easier than their table position suggests. Hopefully that’s not the kiss of death for us! |  |

I'd like to see a settled team - maybe 3 changes but not the 6 or 7 some are predicting. It's still early in the season and we're still settling - I'd like to see the team having a run together.
In terms of result - I'll take a draw if that's all we can get! Better than losing; let;s get an undefeated run together which does wonders for confidence.

I’m worried we’ll repeat last season’s away approach in the Premier League. While it worked against top opponents, this season we’ve looked poor away from home against weaker teams. I would prefer a more attacking plan in away fixtures across this division, rather than the cautious first 60 minutes we’ve shown so far. Those conservative tactics have left us with zero minutes in the lead this season and have stifled a squad that thrives on going forward.
Given that, I expect a tight game and can only see a 1–0 scoreline, either way. Red cards and dodgy penalties also seem to play a part in matches away from Portman Road so far. |  | | |
