I don’t think it’s unrealistic to have wanted to see a little more by now from a supposedly supremely talented, and vastly expensive Championship squad.
Of course we could still go on to develop into a really strong side and have fantastic season, I’m merely pointing out where we are at the moment, is far from where we want and need to be. [Post edited 1 Oct 7:11]

Ah the difference between playing with real beings whose performance relies on so many variables and assembling a 95 rated squad on fifa ultimate team with perfect chemistry that is solely at the mercy of the skill of the "manager".
We have invested to collect somewhat of a championship ultimate team but its the real human elements that are letting us down at the moment. That double promotion team were tuned to a point of being performance machines with rare blips. We cant expect that to be an immediate norm. Bristol may not have the stars that we have but from a human level they individually performed very well, including there subs who settled into.the game far quicker than ours to create impact.
A tough night, but we are being incredibly entitled if we think we have a team that walks every game week untroubled. | | | |
