I'm not even really blaming Furlong here but that's been the theme of this entire half so that has to be fixed. Been an issue in other games as well. Other than that a relatively even game with us just carrying a bit more ability and threat.
We just need to fix our route out from the back and perhaps go the other way more.
Kipre has been fine but Greaves gives us better balance to go then the other way. |  |

It's not a reflection on ability or performance. He's left footed. On the ball he is very comfortable and helps us bring us out.
I'm making a clear observation not any suggestion of anything wrong from Kipre.
And that's massive hyperbole. Greaves was man of the match last game. Kipre has been good and got a goal this time. Kipre did nearly give me a heart attack early on but so strong.
Summary: my post is purely about the struggle for us getting out from the back. Not sure there is any argument about that is there? | |

I think they really effectively pressed the midfield when we tried to go inside and we turnover a few early so Furlong has gone long down the line now and that's not worked.
It's not an easy fix during the game and feel a bit for Furlong as he keeps offering but has no out. | |

That is utter nonsense but THIS IS NOT A GREAVES VS KIPRE debate. It's one factor not having a LCB as to why we have gone one side and got stuck.

Thing was they looked highly vulnerable to a long ball, took us awhile to work that out. We just don’t trust our ability to plat through the lines, one point Matusiwa screaming for it in space, Furlong chose not to and we were in trouble.
We do miss Sammy in that regard, Nunez looks like we could link things up better. | |

If O’Shea makes ridiculous passes, almost hospital passes, in appropriate positions it puts pressure on the player who receives the ball.
I thought O’Shea was a liability in defence today.
I was so nervous when he had the ball, be interesting to see the stats on his misplaced passes, especially first half.

Absolutely ridiculous.
Kipre was good today. Greaves was good and my MOTM on Tuesday. Both are good and both do have some different strengths and weaknesses.
Why do we always have to do these snap reactions to a single game.
If we want to play out from the back effectively I think Greaves really helps with that. If we are going to be under a lot more pressure then Kipre is a good option. More than happy to have 2 really good CBs keeping each other honest.
