Unless you boil all the taste out of them, then they’re acceptable

I kind of enjoy the breather.

I can't say I glean any enjoyment out of watching Ipswich Town play - unless they're 3-0 up with 20 mins to play!

And if we lose, it's weekend ruined and I'm in a foul mood.

With it being an international break, I enjoy the opportunity to concentrate a bit more on my kids, go to the park, do other things, and generally just be a more likeable happier version of myself!

I’d happily scrap international football entirely.

But I suspect my opinion is a minority one.

During the football season, yes. But in the summer, I love the Euros and World Cup. When it seems like the whole nation is getting behind the team. But I'd rather there were no qualifiers and everything was done at the main tournament. It would be less games overall and more fun than the qualifying rounds.

I agree, don't care about it all.

Agree but filling grounds even for friendlies is money, they're not going to give that up...
