I think its fair to say he's under a good amount of pressure at this point, one of the most expensive Champ teams ever assembled that can look like a bit of a powder puff team of individuals at times and a really leaky, very expensive defense. There has been a lot gone wrong since promotion in terms of recruitment and assembling cohesive units.
The good news is, it will take a fairly low points total this year but on current showing it looks like playoffs at best. A real test of character to change momentum now.
For context we just lost as many games as Burnley did in an entire season in a few days and lets face it outside a couple of late penalties it could be worse.
There has been tens if not hundreds of millions spent on players brought in, while money might not guarantee success it for sure adds pressure, as it should.
No need for personal attacks but it's right to be asking some questions on inconsistencies and the direction of travel this season. [Post edited 21 Oct 2025 22:35]

however it's a fairly safe bet on our footballing terms that we'll have better results than 0-3 at home in our future! | |
