That Knapper is funny isn't he? 13:48 - Nov 20 with 2202 viewstractorboy1978

On one hand says they tried multiple times to keep Nunez then in the same breath tries to denigrate his impact at Norwich in terms of minutes on the pitch and goals/assists.

Mad that he actually went on that pod with those tools / brothers.

Really shows how desperate things are there, that he’d agree to that.

Poll: Who do you think is a better right-footed centre back?

Comes across as a bit clueless. Tbf, that’s seems very much the NCFC supporters view too.

He really did didn't he. Like a shifty kid, just trying to wing it. No presence, no conviction and dreadfully uninspiring - long may it continue.

The contrast with our three boys on stage the other night could not be more stark. Day and night. Doing us and the county proud. COYFB.

I think Knapper has it spot on there. Cant keep a player that wants out, especially to a local rival.

Definitely the right man for the job there. Long may he continue.

Did I hear Sargent is also keen to play for Town too?? Wouldnt stand for that Knappy boy!

When Nunez left, they really were trying to spin it and convince themselves that although it was a shock, it was a fairly prudent move given that he could have left on a free in the summer, and it was a really decent fee. All of which is fair comment, but now they're attacking Knapper for the decision.

They're just a couple of everyday fans who have bought a camera and a microphone. I get why Knapper has to be seen to be engaging with the fans and doing the rounds, but these two, especially the main one, come across as vacuous, devoid of analysis and amateurish. At least Knapper managed to convince someone to give him a proper job, even if he seems to be out of his depth.

I think it also shows what a pickle Norwich are in, and somewhat no communication between him and the owners as they’re saying it was a mistake to sell him to us, whereas Knapper saying it was the right decision.

Long may it continue.

Had I meant that I’d have said Norwich fans are clueless , which I’m sure most (well, quite a few…..some…..maybe one or two) are not. That flint chipper knapper is.

Certain level of arrogance to it too, the 'I make loads of really hard decisions that you lay people won't ever understand' type approach will never go down well.

I never watch anything Norwich related, but now they are sooo bad its quite enjoyable.

I watch Knapper with interest and kept comparing him to our Mark Ashton. I wouldnt want Knapper anywhere near us at any level let alone CEO.

Knapper's days are numbered, he has lost the fans and the upper management are loosing parience.

Knapper seems way way out of his depth. Essentially the work experience kid who somehow got promoted.

Ashton, for all his coffee-clasping Brent traits, is a seasoned pro who knows what he wants and how to get it.

After all the comments I had to watch, he came across like a timid 6th former playing football manager. Clueless.

Spot on about their change of tune, when it suits them!

When’s Ashton on with Cruncher?

What a awkward interview he looked totally uncomfortable kept repeating it was his fault was embarrassed watching woman in the background kept appearing it was so so amateurish he makes Mark Ashton look like the best there is that's not a slight on Ashton. God they need Clement to be half decent because their underbelly is horrendous and are in serious trouble the next 6 weeks will define their season.

I think you are right there - next 6 weeks defines their season. 11 games in 42 days - if Clement doesn't hit the ground running they are in big bother on and off the pitch.

Even if it were true (which you'd doubt given he's got every major decision wrong so far it seems) I don't think it is going to particularly endear people to you. Compare the openness in communication of somebody like McKenna who is confident in his decisions and prepared to pull back the curtain a bit against some of our older managers who were suspicious any time a question was asked around selection or tactics.

Excuses in already. I am sure he has endeared himself to the squad.
