Treachery and corruption and he only gets this. Says a lot about the man who is pretending not to know him either.

How can anyone support these scumbags?

I imagine it's so lenient because he undertook his treachery whilst being very patriotic indeed just like the rest of the Reform cabal. By that, I mean the ones who know what they're doing rather than the simpletons who are just along for the ride and think they're sticking it to the man.

In these cases, you can (never) hear the howls for the 'community leaders' to come out and say something can you?

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.

I am always surprised how very little money these people are prepared to sell out for

£ 40k is the price of a 5 year old Range Rover......

All seems pretty small beer for such treachery

I'd be looking for at least a half mill

Here's the sentencing remarks which are pretty damming.

Apparently, and to no surprise of anyone, Lord Haw Haw is out of the country today (so no constituency surgery in Clacton, gasp) and in the US, so escaping a lot of the questions.

Might be entertaining to go to the Mail or Telegraph website and see just how buried down the page this story is - probably still higher than the fellow traitor Johnson being castigated over Covid. That's probably hidden in the runners for the 3:30 at Chepstow.

One thing for sure, these pricks and their supporters have no right to lecture anyone on patriotism again. But they will. Because they have no shame.

I got curious. It is front and centre of the main Mail landing page. Effectively the 2nd biggest domestic (well Welsh) story after the death of Mani and only otherwise behind Ukraine.

Meanwhile a spokesman for Reform said: "Mr Gill’s actions were reprehensible, treasonous and unforgivable. We are glad that justice has been served and fully welcome the sentence Nathan Gill has received."

Odd, I've just gone and had a look myself, and it's lower than

Ukraine
Mani
Strictly
A story about Mounjaro
Selling on TikTok
Murder sentence
Netflix show Physical Asia
Kelly Brook in a bikini
Secrets of getting the "Cheshire face" - whatever the hell that is
Rachel Reeves hinting at what caused her to cry in the Commons
Victoria Beckham's rarely seen brother being in a family photograph
A story about Ozempic
London apparently being Sodom and Gamorrah

And then this.

Which admittedly is not as low as I thought, but I guess Mr Algorithm decides what stories are where, where you are in the country, if you're on the mobile or desktop site etc etc etc

is it lenient? ten and half years is a serious sentence befitting a very serious crime. the max sentence under the bribery act is ten years, and the judge has gone beyond that by deciding that for two of the offences the sentences won't run concurrently. it's a very serious offence, but ten and half years doesn't seem disproportionately low to me.

And so as the loose-bowelled pigeon of time swoops low over the unsuspecting tourist of destiny, and the flatulent skunk of fate wanders into the air-conditioning system of eternity, I notice it's the end of the show

At least this one stuck. There’s plenty of foreign interference in our democracy that goes unchecked.

Absolutely fascinating that a man who barely knew him, appears pictured with him and says this…. Wonder who’s next?

Our Nige is very forgetful. Here’s a picture of him with the wife of Gill’s handler who he also doesn’t know.
