I’ve said it time and time again, I don’t think people realise what quite the player and quite the coup Sindre was for us. Unbelievable piece of business by all involved.

Nick Ames is no Phil McNulty, that’s for sure. Always original, solidly written (except the odd typo!) and well-informed. People attack the Guardian constantly, but it’s worth 1,000 Football League Worlds and all those other peddlers of clickbait speculation. [Post edited 22 Nov 8:25]

Exciting player. You can see he has oodles of talent and it’s going to be fascinating seeing how he develops.

Enjoyed reading on the train home last night. Good piece, and as written, Sindre seems confident/assertive without being arrogant. Those characteristics are probably essential for a player looking to make the most of their talent.

| Guardian interview with Sindre Walle Egeli on 08:46 - Nov 22 with 19 views | Herbivore | Good article and some interesting stuff in there. He speaks really well for a 19 year old and it is clear he's given a lot of thought to every decision he's made in his young career. Having natural ability is one thing but the top players also have a really good head on their shoulders and he seems to have that. The rate of improvement from him in a couple of months here has been impressive. Looked a little lost in his first couple of appearances but still put a shift in, now he looks a real threat and is getting much more involved in games. Can't wait for him to get off the mark. | |
