| Is the Championship really that poor this season? 22:32 - Nov 25 with 1168 views | quirkie | We've barely got out of 2nd gear all season, sometimes we've got into 3rd gear now and again. Yet here we sit 3pts off the autos with a game in hand. Doesn't say to me the Championship is over run with quality this season. However, i If over the next 5 months we can start getting into 4th or 5th gear then can't really see anyone other than Coventry and us going up in the automatic places. | |

Worst I’ve ever seen. I mean Hull et al being a top 6 side in November! They’re trash. | |

| Is the Championship really that poor this season? on 06:35 - Nov 26 with 426 views | Blue_Heath | It's going to be about consistency now, Southampton, even Sheff U could put decent runs together and quickly climb the table. At this moment in time it's looking 2nd (again, ole, ole) is likely best we can achieve. Coventry looking at the stats almost guaranteed 1st and worst case 2nd unless we beat them twice. I think in the new year 3/4 teams will be fighting for 2nd with another 10/12 going for 5th/6th. Key thing for us is making PR a fortress again. | |

| Is the Championship really that poor this season? on 06:46 - Nov 26 with 388 views | Vaughan8 | If Hull are a top 10 team then yes. That first half was really bad from both teams. We got a goal and they had to open up so I think that is partly why we improved a bit. I'd say only Birmingham and Middlesbrough looked half decent so far. | | | |
| Is the Championship really that poor this season? on 06:50 - Nov 26 with 353 views | ITFC_Forever | It’s always been very tight and low on quality. A year in the Prem last season has made us realise how big the chasm in quality is between the two. | |

| Is the Championship really that poor this season? on 07:07 - Nov 26 with 297 views | SuperKieranMcKenna | It is poor because the parachute teams have been in disarray (big squad turnover, managerial changes) so none have hit the ground running, obviously us and Southampton are getting going now. That said, we have relied on individual moments of quality to carry us - visibly we aren’t playing well as a team. If we can click like we did in league one then we can really start dismantling teams. | | | |
| Is the Championship really that poor this season? on 08:11 - Nov 26 with 113 views | Herbivore | I'd say it's got a higher floor but a lower ceiling than the last time we were here. Look at the spending of Wrexham and Birmingham coming into the league from League 1 versus what any of the promoted sides, including us, spent last time we were at this level. There's been a decent amount of money thrown about this year generally, Christ even Norwich spent a decent chunk of change. That said, the parachute teams haven't been good so far and look weaker than some in previous years (though still time for this to change). Coventry aren't amazing but are walking the league at the minute. They look to me a classic fourth placed side in the last few versions of the Championship so the quality at the top isn't as good. And if you compare last night's Hull to the team that finished 7th in 2023/24 then you can see that the quality at the top isn't as great as it has been in the past. | |
