Defeats are bad enough 22:11 - Nov 28 with 1800 viewswaveneyblue

But then reading the absolute sh1t that people post on here makes it even more depressing.

Yes it wasnt great, two awful goals given away and a lot of mistakes, but reading the comments you would think we are 10 points outside the playoffs and getting thumped on a weekly basis.

The over reaction is mental

Ps Thanks for the downvote Ernie hun x

If you keep pushing as far as you do the other way, pretending everything is fine, you’ll get some push back. Sorry but thats life

One one hand.. yes. There is definitely an overreaction at times. We’re all guilty of it. We’re football fans and it’s an emotional game to be part of even from the sidelines. I think I after the Charlton debacle referred to O’Shea as the worst cb we’ve had in 5 years. That’s obviously untrue. It’s emotions running away with us.

On the other hand.. there are also people on here very quick to go against any criticism. Losing away at Oxford when we’ve got a squad of players that cost this much is undoubtedly deserving of criticism. That’s just the way it is.

Poll: Would you take a draw tonight if offered right now?

I guess after spending a 150 . Million and looking worse than when we came up with no players costing more than 2 millon individually and having a horrendous 18 months and no sustained showing improvement people have a right to be unhappy.

Carry on with performances like tonight and we will soon realise your dream of "10 points outside the playoffs and getting thumped on a weekly basis"

How many points you reckon we will get from the next 2 vs Blackburn and Coventry?

Unless there is a 180° turnaround within the next week the answer is probably going to be 1, or perhaps even a big, fat ZERO.

I agree, it wasnt remotely good enough. Neither was the first half v Hull which i thought was worse than tonight.

However, theres criticism and then there's childish over reaction. They are two very different things

150 million and your options from the bench are a 40 year old and the competition winner Kasey.

We are in the play offs in touching of autos. We lost a game we shouldn’t but this happens in football it’s hardly indefensible.

Azor made a howler, he has been fantastic this season. We got suckered pushing for a winner, we just won 3 away games on the bounce.

Perspective needed

Wondered how long it would take for you to appear with another pompous and patronising post. Get off your moral high horse. This is a forum- a place for people to vent their immediate feelings and discontentment. Tonight is an abject result relative to what we have spent. How poor some of the teams in this league are is masking a lot of our deficiencies.

We just lost to Oxford and have been awful in most of our proceeding games.

Knowing Ipswich and this league, probably 4 minimum.

Each to their own. Failed to beat Wrexham. Lost to Oxford - a really really poor side. Even Norwich managed a point. Good for you if you’re delighted with these results. I’m personally not. And if anyone thinks the American investors are excited by a defeat to Oxford. You’re deluded.

Wise words Rommie. Nobody will be panicking at the club, but the expectation is that we’ll be challenging for automatic promotion by the end of the season. Nights like tonight take us further from that goal. Luckily we have plenty of time to get back on track, so it’s not the end of the world and shouldn’t be seen in isolation.

Right, I’ve got another 5 am start so I’m done. As Glassers says, we’ll have a chance to put things right soon enough, so play fair everyone,

You’re contributing to absolute sh1te the other way as usual. Some of us have higher standards maybe. We were favorites for a reason and it’s underwhelming going into December, surely even you can see that. Terrible result.

Did I say it was good enough ? NO

It wasnt remotely, as i said in another post, it was poor against Hull too.

It is underwhelming, I haven't said it isn't.

But the likes of you thrive on being negative, snide and then turn on people who arent in your gang.

If thats what floats your boat great... but I find it sadly pathetic.
