I think it started with good intentions and had good prospects as a genuine party for socialist supporters. The initial registration got something like 800k people. It all went south once Sultana got power crazy and tried to stamp her own authority on the party, acting unilaterally such as setting up a payment portal, trying to set agendas on her own without consultation. And here she is today making it all about her again by boycotting the conference. She seems determined to make this party a failure before it even gets off the ground. | | | |

I dont think Corbyn was even that bothered about starting up a new party
At 76, he is well into the twilight of his political career and his last stint as a leader didn't go too well. He was quite happy in his little backbench alliance but then Sultana jumps ship from Labour and promptly announces the birth of Your Party fronted by herself and Jezza. So poor old Corbyn gets dragged along like a reluctant father to a children's party because Zarah needs a responsible adult chaperone. [Post edited 29 Nov 18:51]

Plus, if we're honest, this part was basically the Gaza party. IIRC Corbyn basically said it was set up to support Gaza and now they have no other ideas.
