FIFA should be ashamed of that side show tonight. The draw should have been done using football superstars. Rio was under rehearsed and sounded like an East End barrow boy. The programme was typical of an American game show. Hopefully the football next year will be of a high standard.

With 48 teams, I fear it's going to take a while for the tournament to become 'high standard'.
With the power of clubs to buy from across the globe, international football is in danger of disappearing up its own backside.

Im not going to defend FIFAs presentation, as it clearly was terrible, but I do think people are over egging the its the worst ever/FIFA have ruined football.

because over 30 years ago for the 94 world cup in the USA, you had stuff like this, so the idea its been just this super formal just pull the names/groups out of a hat ceremony and everyone treated it super seriously is way off the mark.
